Remove the Old. Make Room for Something Better.
Residential Outdoor Removal in Rochester, NY
We remove unwanted decks, patios, concrete, sheds, fences and other substantial backyard structures across Rochester and the surrounding towns — dismantled, hauled away, and the site left clean.
- Residential projects from $1,000
- Haul-away included
- Footings pulled, not buried
What we take out
Four services make up most of our work. Each one is a structure that has to be dismantled in order, loaded, and disposed of properly — not dragged to the curb.
A removal company, not a hauling company
Rochester Outdoor Removal exists for the structures that are built onto a house or poured into a yard: decks, patios, concrete, sheds, fences. Taking them out is a trade — it needs the right equipment, a disposal plan, and enough care to leave a lawn that a mower can still cross.
What we are not is a junk service. Junk hauling, furniture and appliance pickup, interior demolition, whole-house or commercial demolition, and anything under the project minimum. If your job is smaller than that, an honest "not us" saves us both a phone call.
How we work
Removal by structure type
Three families of work, one crew. The approach changes with the material underneath.
Wood Structure Removal
Decks, sheds, fences, porches, gazebos, pergolas, playsets and treehouses — anything framed and fastened that has outlived its use.
Hardscape Removal
Poured concrete, pavers, brick, stone, asphalt and retaining structures, along with the base and footings underneath them.
Outdoor Structure Removal
Pools, hot tubs, greenhouses and carports — the larger outdoor items that need draining, disconnecting or careful sequencing before removal.
Same yard, three stages
An old wood fence taken out in one visit: failing panels, controlled dismantling, and a lawn you can use again.

Why homeowners call us
- One of the owners is on the jobJosh and Zack quote the work and run it. Nobody sells it and hands it to a stranger.
- Footings come outPosts and pier bases are pulled, not buried under two inches of soil.
- Disposal is in the priceThe dump fee is part of the quote, not a surprise line on the invoice.
- Sequenced around what's nextIf a patio or a deck is replacing what comes out, the removal is planned to suit it.
How a removal runs
- Photos and a scopeSend pictures of the structure and the access path. That is usually enough to quote.
- Protect the work areaMats down, siding and fence covered, before anything is broken.
- Dismantle in orderTop down, in sections, with reinforcement and fasteners handled as we go.
- Load and haulSorted by material where it matters, then off to a licensed facility.
- Clean the siteRaked, swept, and a magnet pass so no fasteners are left in the grass.

Before you book
The questions we get first, answered plainly.
What is your project minimum?
Residential removal projects start at $1,000. Below that, the truck, the labour and the disposal fee cost more than the job is worth to both sides.
Do you haul everything away?
Yes. Removal includes loading, hauling and disposal, and the dump fee is inside the quote rather than added afterwards.
Do you pull the footings and posts out of the ground?
Yes. Footings and posts are dug out and hauled, not buried. Burying them only moves the problem to the next project on that ground.
Do you do general junk removal?
No. Junk hauling, furniture and appliance pickup, interior demolition, whole-house or commercial demolition, and anything under the project minimum. Our work is residential exterior structures and hardscapes.
Tell us what needs to go
Send a photo of the structure and how wide the access is. You will get a straight answer on scope and cost, usually the same day.
